Lysa McKeon:

Lysa has been with Ark Animal Hospital Hospital for almost 1 year. She possesses exceptional customer service skills developed from her many years working directly with the public in retail environments shown with the excellence with communicating with all our clients. Her three children make a busy schedule outside of work. She juggles free time between school sports, cheerleading practice, and everyone’s homework. Lysa is an avid reader and loves most types of music.

Technicians:

Originally from Oahu, Matt moved to Santa Cruz in 1998. He has been working in the veterinary profession for over 18 years, and brings valuable experience to the practice. At home, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Jill, also a veterinary technician of many years. Matt’s love for veterinary medicine shows in the care and compassion he extends to Ark patients. Free time is spent with his two dogs “Scully” and “Charlie”, and collecting fossils from around the world.

I have worked as a Veterinary Technician with Dr. Hoefer for over nine years. I earned an A.S. in Veterinary Technology from Foothill College in 2003, and am a strong believer in continuing technical education to keep updated on new treatments, pharmaceuticals, and advancing technologies.

I have extensive experience working with felines, but I find the greatest reward in providing the highest quality of comfort and care to all animals.My cats are part of my family, and I practice the same level of nursing and boarding care that I demand for everyone in my family.
